University of Tuebingen
The Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen is one of the most renowned research institutions worldwide. The de.NBI Cloud project provides scientists with compute resources at the push of a button. In this context, a flexible and scalable cloud storage solution was sought for the existing OpenStack environment. In close collaboration with Quobyte, Hamburgnet designed and installed a 14PB (petabyte) storage solution in Tübingen.
We also implemented a CEPH-based open-source storage solution together with Sardina FishOS for the de.NBI Cloud project.
In addition to the storage solution, Hamburgnet's 100Gbit Mellanox/NVIDIA network is being used.
For the Machine Learning Cloud in Tübingen, we also implemented a storage solution.

City of Pforzheim - Storage Project 2021
The project required a storage system that is operated by the manufacturer as Storage as a Service and billed monthly based on the utilized storage capacity.
Together with Infinidat, we were able to outperform competitors such as Pure Storage and convince our long-term customer.
City of Pforzheim - Storage and network across two data centers. 2 x 700 TB HPC storage, mirrored across two data centers. Connection via 100GbE and 25GbE.

Police Academy Hamburg
The Academy of Police Hamburg is the central educational institution of the Hamburg police. The academic heart of the Academy beats in the university with currently 13 professors and their staff. 750 students build on a modern IT environment. The IT department of the Academy of Police relies on the support from Hamburgnet.
